Installing DuraPost® Gate Posts - Easy to Follow Video

Need help installing your DuraPost Gate Posts?

There are two ways to fit gate hardware using a DuraPost® by FENCEMATE Gate Post, and both are shown in the easy-to-follow video below.

One, when the gate hardware is fitted directly to the DuraPost® Gate Post hardware using self drilling screws, and the other when the gate hardware is fitted to a piece of 3x2 timber secured to the DuraPost® Gate Post.

With either option, a DuraPost® U-Channel is needed on the side of the Gate Posts for the fence panels or rails to secure to.

When fitting a gate using 3x2 timber, ensure that the timber is secured to the DuraPost® Gate Post first before attaching the gate hardware to the timber.
